Welcome Dakota!

Welcome our newest mare to HCHR, Dakota! Dakota was surrendered to us by no fault of her own or previous owners. They knew it was better for her to come to HCHR because it is expensive to care for a horse. Dakota is a feisty quarterhorse mare with a lot of love to give to the right person but for now, she is on her healing journey from white line disease in a front hoof. This girl loves her food also! She is gaining weight and still needs to put on a few pounds. Dakota will continue to be under observation and care for the foreseeable future. Once healed, she will be available for adoption.
