Adoption Process
The adoption process at HCHR begins with submitting an application. If the application is approved, a homesite visit is required to ensure the horse will be in a safe and suitable environment. Before any horse is adopted, potential adopters are required interact with the horse they are considering for adoption to ensure they will be a good fit for one another. This also gives HCHR an opportunity to evaluate the possible adoption. If there is a match between a potential adopter and a horse, an adoption fee is required. Adoption fees range from $500 and higher depending on many factors. Contact us to find out more!
